Kappa Kappa Gamma

 Campus Activities

The University of Wyoming has clubs and organizations to accompany any interests that one may have.  With this in mind, there is always something to attend on the Wyoming campus.

The women of Kappa Kappa Gamma enjoy attending as many events as possible.  Some of the highlights of last year included the MLK March around the town of Laramie. This was an educational event in which all who attended learned about equal rights and made a pledge to make our college community a safe and equal place for everyone.

Some other memorable moments of last year include the speech given by Malcom X's daughter, in which she informed everyone about her father's life and the life lessons he taught her and the rest of his family. Many of the Kappa women also enjoyed participating in the student government elections and attending the debate sessions.

While not all of the Kappa women play sports, almost all of them enjoy attending many of the sporting events that the University has to offer.  Saturdays during football season at Wyoming are never dull. Whatever the weather may be, cold or warm, you can always find Kappas at a football, basketball, or hockey game.

Finally, the Kappa women love being highly involved with the friendly Greek Week competition.  Some of last year's events included an Iron Chef cook off, a tug-o-war contest, a banner contest, community trash pick-up, a talent show, and a trivia bowl.  This is a great time to bond with one's sisters as well as put everyone's talents to use, while working as a team.
